    Enables candidates to engage in self-directed learning and demonstrate their knowledge through non-traditional formats. 

  • Competency Development 
    Establishes performance standards through reliable and transparent assessments. 

  • Performance Evaluation 
    Provides validated tools to assess skills and qualifications. 

  • Succession & Career Planning 
    Successful candidates may qualify for higher classifications, unlocking career advancement. 

  • Employee & Labour Relations 
    Recognizes and supports the professional growth of ECEs. 

  • Recognition of Competency 
    RPL completion qualifies candidates to apply for a classification upgrade.
